IDIOT...pullback was today...or weren't you watching it go from 7.1 on the opening to almost 7.3 then to 6.95 then closing one cent off the high of the day at 7.42...will go near 8 or higher tomorrow...that's why I bought back 31,600 shares at the close at 7.39...
Well ericvondr1, I can understand why you are a little intense, having just committed about a quarter million dollars, buying near the high of the day.
And I am an idiot too, since I also think there could be a pullback, before the next leg up. For a healthy stock, this is normal. If there is not some selling/profit taking along the way, the pullbacks are more severe when they do occur.
If you expect your 7.39's to go straight up, then you SHOULD be nervous. Either you are not very experienced, or you are way out on a limb here, going for the big score with your quarter mill. That sure is an extraordinarily large retail position. With that kind of capital, why are you such taking such a large position in one issue?
I am long ELN also, but things are getting a bit irrational here, so I expect to be labeled a short, I suppose. Seems that any tone , other than pure euphoria, is not tolerated. That's ok...if you do well, so do I, and there is no requirement that we like each other in the process.
This really is none of my business, but I don't react well to your bullying, aggressive type of language. Calling someone an idiot for [without expletive or malice] expressing a view, has just always made my blood boil a bit. Who do you think you ARE?
Well said bro. You know, I gotta tell you, I really didn't even notice the dude's post...just flew right by it...until this eric guy replied. What's funny, it was him saying that he bought all those shares, not the idiot part, that caught my eye. That is a hefty load-o-stock...WOW! So I went back & read the dude's post [now I'm curious I guess] & this is all he said:
>>>i can see a little pullback tomorrow
for the flippers & scalpers to take a lil profit, then a resumption up ' ' i might add more on that pullback<<<
That's it! That's all he said! Another poster now calls him a 'scary short', then he gets called an idiot. WTF?
Now, I am going to weigh in. Right up front, I am going to tell you that I am NOT a long suffering long, but I truly hope that those who DO have shares bought at high prices get whole again. This stock got my attention after the second big gap down. I am long ELN, having bought @3.51 & have added 3 times on the way up, including my last buy @6.69. I certainly hope for this momentum to continue.
1] YOU CAN BET YOUR SWEET ASSES that there are pumpers working hard here to keep the momentum going. From its low, this stock is now a doubler+ with great volume & a great buzz. This has nothing to do with Elan or its products. It is how the game is played. Others here, like me, that are not in on the pump, have seen this over & over, and know this to be true. If you are enjoying the ride, you don't really care. When the run is over [and don't get me wrong, I don't think it IS over yet], the last buyers in, will be left, as they say, holding the bag. IF THERE IS ANYONE HERE THAT DOESN'T KNOW THIS, YOU'D BETTER WISE UP FAST and be prepared with a good trading strategy so you don't get hurt. These folks, with all their supportive comments, and optimism and rah rah, AND BS, will be long gone & on to the next pump.
2] The dude mentioned scalpers. I would AGREE that for weeks now, this has been an IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR SCALPING. There is no way to absolutely know from raw data/time & sales, but all the ingredients are here, mainly GREAT LIQUIDITY [daily volume], and just enough volatility to create the daily price movement. I would say that without doubt there is scalping going on here every day. Nothing wrong with it...just another trading style...and I think it goes on too, probably tomorrow, but that doesn't make me a short either.
3] IT IS NOT THIS EASY! Hopefully I am preaching to the choir...
Boo, hiss, I know, I know...bring it on boys! Just don't start believing your own BS.
