    • hey, jean,
why do you even bother arguing with that guy? why not just leave him be? Maybe then he'll go away

    • -ha
i was thinking social security when i wrote that; but i could not remember why...geez, it makes a great point, doesn't it???

    • hey there YMB asshole

      i see you are still
      complaining about stealing the election.

is that a hanging chad, hanging off you nose,
or just the snot you have for brains?

    • One final thing which I wanted to reiterate:

Let's all hope KM doesn't run Elan into the ground like Bush has with America.

    • <<<maybe the democrats "never get it" because the neocons can't explain it...>>>

This one sums up EXACTLY what you just said.

WOMAN IN AUDIENCE: I don't really understand. How is it the new [Social Security] plan is going to fix that problem?
DUBYA: Because the -- all which is on the table begins to address the big cost drivers. For example, how benefits are calculated, for example, is on the table. Whether or not benefits rise based upon wage increases or price increases. There's a series of parts of the formula that are being considered. And when you couple that, those different cost drivers, affecting those -- changing those with personal accounts, the idea is to get what has been promised more likely to be -- or closer delivered to what has been promised. Does that make any sense to you? It's kind of muddled. Look, there's a series of things that cause the -- like, for example, benefits are calculated based upon the increase of wages, as opposed to the increase of prices. Some have suggested that we calculate -- the benefits will rise based upon inflation, as opposed to wage increases. There is a reform that would help solve the red if that were put into effect. In other words, how fast benefits grow, how fast the promised benefits grow, if those -- if that growth is affected, it will help on the red.

    • maybe the democrats "never get it" because the neocons can't explain it...

    • what tha??? you are nuts! look at how much you are nuts!!!

    • It's not my party who's causing the problems unless of course, not being dirty and deceitful enough like the current gang in the White House to steal an election counts towards the dem's ineptitude. All the shit you see going on today, the death, the destruction, the lying, the stealing, the downright meanness is just a reflection of Rove, Bush, Cheney and gang. These guys are not even republicans. They're a different breed of animal. And they've conned you republicans into buying into their con game. I agree with you that I don't a lot about politics. But what's going on today is absolutely ridiculous. These guys want to rule the world by any means necessary. And the sad thing is - it will be the American people who will pay the most for these S&B boys to get their wish.

    • dubya,
it's never too early for ouzo for OKZ. I understand she has been requested to lay off it until afternoon, but to no avail.

She frequently has real trouble putting together a coherent sentence; I don't know if it is the sauce or her brain is just addled from so much denial of reality.

I think you really got under her skin that time, and she is quite funny when she goes ballistic. It probably is unkind of me to laugh at and ridicule another living creature, and I am sure if she were not so pompous I would not do it. Still, it is not a good thing to do; but sadly I am succeptible to temptation in laughing at such an easy target.

    • You tell 'em, Jean!

Although, sadly, those who don't already get it probably never will.
