Thanks again Mullen! From the way Elan is trading overseas it appears that Mullens interview has effectively killed the rally in Elans share price. I believe Mullen's interview was generally reviewed, as I did, as negative. His comments were not made with much confidence and his timelines (end of September instead of Sept 21st and FDA review completion not until 06) were not what the market wanted to hear. I understand Mullen's posturing to protect Avonex and I realize he may be wrong on the timeline but it is still very disheartening to all Mser's and investors alike. When you consider the possibility of a drug, which should not have ever been withdrawn from the market, taking over a year, after a clean safety review, to get back to the market, it makes one ill and disillusioned. Regards, JT
how many people here have been working themselves into a lather with the anticipation of an early re-intro on the basis of posts from a duck, a skunk and a seely wabbit character claiming they're in the know?
hell, didn't a cabbie back in april say john groom (ex elan ceo) mentioned his belief it would be 1st or 2nd qtr of 06 ?
when i read stealth's post the other day about his belief in the imminent return, i was overjoyed. now i'm under the suspicion he fell for one of our board oracles and it grieves me to see that man and any other msers in more pain than they already bear.
the oracles may mean well but i've seen it happen before, many times, in other stocks where people finally caved in and sold only to be greatly disappointed when the stock jumped afterwards. i include myself in that group.
if you believe in mgmt. and the science then just hold it.

Dublin $8.80 with London $8.74 0n very small volume.
However Elan trades in NY today (up or down) it will be no reflection on Europe. Just not one of those days where Europe leads on decent volume.
"Thanks again Mullen! From the way Elan is trading overseas it appears that Mullens interview has effectively killed the rally in Elans share price".
Dont know about that. Buys are more than twice the sells in London. If we get that in the States today we are looking at a serious rally .
The good thing is everyone has had time to digest this statement by Mullens. I think most people will see that Tysabri is now on the road back as Mono and you may see a shift in focus from Boob to Elan. It was good that we got this statement when we did it keeps people watching and the price rise of late wont go unnoticed .
I think the momentum is bigger than this article.
There are precious few days left until news.
I think more people need to cover and more need to take positions to avoid be caugt by news.
Sure it may not go up everyday but it should remain strong imo.
