The FDA is making a circus on the approval of a drug (Tysabri) for MS. After a 12-0 vote by the AC for approval and an expected FDA approval by March 31, there was an announcement that the approval could take up to anoter 90 days. The FDA is a sham and the approval of the right director is very important to the FDA doing what it's supposed to do, get drugs out that help those who need them. The MS patients need Tysabri and the evidence that it works and works extremely well is evident. While the drug was pulled from the market over a year ago due to a few indications of serious side affects, it is clear that Tysabri used alone is safe and effective.
Send one to the president as well. He was the one who recently appointed the new FDA Commissioner. The Commissioner is trying to cover his butt as the current administration can't afford any more screw-ups.
