America Has The Best Healthcare System In The World!
Wow you are thick! That's why I usually ignore you but just for the record. "The average overhead for U.S. private health insurers is 11.7 percent; for Medicare, it is 3.6 percent; for Canada’s national health insurance program, it is 1.3 percent." Understand? No I didn't think so! Good day Miss!
The United States spends twice as much on health care per capita ($7,129) as any other country.
Despite the fact that Americans spend more per capita on health care than any other nation on Earth, the UN World Health Organization ranks the U.S. 37th on the planet as far as the quality of health of its citizens, 20th in life expectancy and 27th in infant mortality. And nearly 50 million Americans have no health insurance at all! France, on the other hand, was rated number one by the WHO despite only spending $3040 per capita in health care dollars for its citizens. Singapore is ranked 6th in the world by the WHO as far as the quality of health of its citizens, yet it spends a mere $1118 per capita.
Sad isn't it. We overpay for everything in this country. But since we are bankrupt as a nation, (we just don't realize it yet) I think we see major reductions in costs over the next 20 years as we make our transition to a 3rd world country.
