Print Media, aka..........NY Times, the Gray Lady and later, USA Today are..................................................................

on the way to extinction...........its almost over............by the way the very fair minded former USA Today owner and founder of USA Today passed away in the past 8 months or so. (Al Neuharth, as I recall, a WW2 vet, who adopted like 12 kids, and passed away in his late 80s. I bought this colourful (literally) paper EVERY weekday for years and years, and out of the blue it increased (recently and by economic likelihood) DOUBLED its daily price from a buck a day to 2 bucks. Imo, it will be last to go...........of the NATIONS NEWSPAPERS..........some local papers will survive but the net will rule ( AND WE SHALL SEE WHICH, (the , print papers, or old school ABC, NBC, CBS video outletslllllllllllllllllll are BETTER IN TIME, THE NET OR THE OLD SCHOOL TRADITIONAL OUTLETS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just my opinion.......heh..........THANKS FOR PUTTING UP WITH THIS RANT AND AT LEAST perusing it slightly............thats allllllllllllllllllllllllllll. .. heh............

Yes, and i find it a shame. Books are going the same way, although slower, since books don't rely on advertising to succeed i think. Me, i don't think i could ever read a book on a screen.

I imagine the 'net is no different than paper and ink when it comes to content. The reporters are the same whether you read them off a screen or in black and white. If you mean yahoo, i imagine they get their news from those from those other sources and re-write it. I can't see these people that i catch blurbs from being of sufficient quality to actually be going out into the field and getting their stories on site. You ever see a yahoo reporter at a presidential news conference? Ever at a school fire or a murder in the streets? Probably get their news from the tv screen or the computer's streaming video.
