As soon as the first Tomahawk hits Syria there will be Syrian missiles on their way to
Israel. Then the #$%$ will hit the proverbial fan and it won't be pretty. Not for Israel,
not for Syria, not for Iran and probably not for the entire region. If Syria forces used
gas on their own citizens they deserve punishment but not by us. It is time for the
Arab League to begin using their kahunas to enact penalties on inhumane activities
by some of their member nations. If not they are saying to the world that they don't
care. Our anger should be directed not only at Syria but all Arab nations for allowing
actions like these to go unnoted and unpunished, likewise we need to sever our
association with those nations who allow this type of activity to continue. Talk is
cheap, begin to walk the walk. They are quite aware that any punishment enacted
by the U.S. will only deepen the hatred for us in the region. Perhaps that is exactly
what they want and we slowly, surely, grant them what they wish for while we spend
the lives of our brave men, women and national treasure......
