    Buy, sell, or hold?

I've been in and out of Quiksilver several times over the years. Currently in - just did an episode on my thoughts around selling vs. holding.

    • dude,
are you smoking indica with the blog dude?

I'm a long way from being excited about the stock at these levels, and if you read what i wrote, that is apparent.

re your comments, i agree with all of them, except that without the PE infusions (warrants would be standard in that kind of deal) this would have been T up already.

That said, the return to knitting will likely work imo, even though my kids say the cache they once enjoyed is dead and that Quik's clothes are passe these days.

    • The banks are to release their quarter earnings this week and next week. What would happen to ZQK if the banks did well?

    • Are you a heavy indica stoned acid casualty or what?

Posing as blog "analysis" of a stock, that is the most incoherent nonsense I've ever witnessed and demonstrates that you don't have a clue about ZQK, generic corporate finance, or the markets in general.

I'd like to send you a bill for lowering my iq, but it was stupid to listen to the whole thing anyway.

The only thing that matters to ZQK is whether the refocused entity can reignite sales and how fast free cash flow can liquidate the heavy debt load. The PE firm's willingness to convert their senior debt to equity in two tranches at a meaningful premium above current market is telling.

The shorts are dead on this.

OK. I know how tough it is to turn a company around and it's not an activity that I want to bet on.

I made more than 150% when I sold 2/3 of my (then current) position last week. I like the products and hope the company thrives - that's why I left 20% of my original position. I knew that it was undervalued when I bought, made my money, and left a little in just in case.
