    operating questions

Are the wrestlers employees of WWE or independent contractors? If they are in fact the latter, do they or management control their work schedule?

If the wrestler's are regarded as independent contractors, and management controls their schedules,
does the WWE have a potential payroll tax issue with IRS?

Finally, does management offer health insurance to their talents? If not, is such an offering contemplated?

Has Vince actually stepped down from the chairmanship, or is this simply another storyline? Is Triple H in fact or is being groomed as Vince's successor?

Finally, is anyone aware of any current legal actions that could have a material effect on this company?

I have merely a "ham and egger" financial position in the company (thanks for the expression Mr. Heenan)but due to the significant dividend cut that took place earlier this year,
I might have to consider taking my loss on this stock and place my money elsewhere.

Thanks for anyone's help in this matter.

    • Yes, contractors, and they work according to the company's schedule, not their's (they wish). No health insurance. The minimum salaries that I see are in the $150K to $200k range, so they pick up their own costs. Vince is still BOD chair and CEO, but I do think the current storyline is foreshadowing HHH being named COO in real life, which will set him up to take over CEO in a few years. In regards to the future, this would be the worst time to pull your money out, with the current stroyline strength, merch sales and PPV buys are going to be thru the roof, and we should see big Q3 and Q4 results. Just my take?

      The wrestlers are independent contractors.

No, in the contract they are scheduled to "perform" a predetermined number of days in the year.

Not that I am aware of. They do offer to pick up the tab of any former performer that enters rehab due to drugs, alcohol abuse.

Vince is still the Chairman. Triple H is in fact being groomed for management.

None that I am aware of.
