    8k released at 3:54 pm

the reason the stock tanked at 355 pm is due to the fact the 8 k form showed up at 354 pm giving people watchinhg the ticker the advantage.i am in at 116.00 but covered by writting covered calls which i will now roll down

    • jmo, but the reason the stock went down was not that the release went out early (although that was clearly bush league). nah... the stock went down due to committed, non-hedge related pro shorting taking out the easy pickings stops and panicked retail newbs.

as to the q numbers? the numbers were certainly solid, and well above the consensus (which did not include $25m of guided "noncore" option expense despite the assertions of those without knowledge here). moreover, the guidance was re-upped (albeit conservatively as is their wont).

here is the funny thing: the intrinsic value wasn't dimished in any way, but sloppy handling of the release time and the conference call made it easy for the pro short to make it seem like the q disappointed. as a result, we longs will suffer through perpetuation of the valuation discount accorded that intrinsic value for a while longer. pollyannish of me to say this: what a nice gift to those looking to add to their positions in a world-changing technology.

    • Bull Shit. This was strategically PLANNED for over 48 hours. The dump had NOTHING to do with the 8k showing up early. Look at the huge options volume, moron. The hedgies planned this and they won. Simple as that.
