    50 investigations and 25 lawsuits...

That's the ONLY way to get in at a better price.
It's hard to work and create something useful.
It's easy to do nothing and invent " HUGE SURGERY PROBLEMS " !!!
That's the world we live in...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

All this hubbub will work for good to the long term investors in ISRG. The company is doing the best thing in saying nothing about each "expert" that comes down the pike except to put up time after time better results, financial and in the operating room than any of the rest of the "experts" think is possible. They are buying back stock at bargain prices in the mean time with their $3 billion war chest and continuing to roll out in new geographic (Japan) and discipline (General Surgery) markets.
Bottomlinefury is correct...Saws and leather straps and a piece of wood to bite on are not the answer. The resistance and tactics used against Thomas Edison's new technology was strikingly similar. The fact that you are reading this tells you who prevailed.

    • so what

    • It's the electricity that's at fault. We should get rid of that as well! Let's go back to sawing bones! Forget anesthesiology as well, get out the old leather straps for biting.

    • Apparently you arent in tune with what this company really is all about. Yes they have invented a tool in the surgery industry however that tool has had 10 years to prove itself. Thus far Intuitive has followed the path of a very shady company. They have salespeople placed in the hospitals to push the robot. The marketing is deceiving at best. The company has also skimmped on the monoploar usage as opposed to going with bi polar or possible harmonic which the company would have had to pay to use. These are just the tip of the iceberg with this company!
