Not having an Engineers Union at Lockheed Martin is why the hourly employees have better medical benefits than Engineers and their pension payout is higher per year of service unless an engineer makes over 100K. Engineers at Lockheed will continue to make concessions as all the low fruit has been picked by the current CEO. The new CEO he will be looking for new ways to increase his compensation so it goes downhill from here. My guess is that the pension plan will be frozen, then eliminated and turned over to the PBGC. Its sort of a back door way for executives to raid the pension fund.
