The weekend edition WSJ has an interesting reading. Many banks struggles to make new revenue so they will introduce new fees on credit card and checking account in new year. Some are very interesting including $1 surcharge each month for using credit card (equivalent to $12 annual fee for free card), inactive fee for not using credit card and $5 statements printing fee if you don't go paperless. Basically banks go creative after new government regulations restrict them to overcharge customers. The government has to make new laws on monthly basis to keep with banks.
