    Taxus shipping records

Well, I won't try and bias my post with a "Strong Sell" or a "Strong Buy" position but I will say that I am interested in hearing about inventory turns.

That is, in short, the usage rate.

I don't care about BSX reps or GDT reps or the forgotten JNJ reps.

All I care about is usage (i.e. Sales...).

Looking forward to the Q1 earnings report.

    • I called the labs I use to work in, and I called a few docs today who I have known for a long time, and all used Taxus this week with great success. Yes, one of the labs is one of the major "Core Lab" for many studies, and they loved the product. Now, I would not call that a very scientific approach, but it made me feel good!

      Just,
Thanks for the kind words, for when you first got on this board you presented some data that a lot of people disagreed with, but at that time you did not attack anyone personally, some however did attack you. I did not agree with all that you said, we even went back and forth, I thought it was a good exchange. I want to hear other opinions, I certainly do not have to agree, nor do I expect everyone to agree with me, but it was fun.

I am hear to make money. People talk about being long, well, I will simply say that one of my docs gave me a stock hint in 1989 to buy Scimed. I have diversified, damn right! Did I buy BSX at $16 in 1999, yes, but I still have some of the original, my buy in price adjusted for mergers etc, on my original Scimed today is $1.67. I love my Scimed investment, I love my BSX investment, (I even like my MSFT investment in 1983). If I had more than 15% in BSX today, that was bought two years ago, I would sell some only because I believe in protecting my downside. I would also keep some for I do believe that Tobin is one smart CEO, and will take this cash cow and make some key strategic buys, for I know of no other company in the last three years who has done a better job in acquisitions! JMHO

      • I called the labs I use to work in, and I stopped by to talk to a few docs today who live in our neighborhood and that I have known for a long time, and all said that Taxus is just sitting on the shelf at the hospital waiting for someone to use them. Yes, one of the labs is one of the major "Core Lab" for many studies, but they continue to use the J&J product out of habit (e.g. use to reaching for the stents on the bottom shelf whereas the Taxus stents are now on the top shelf). Now, I would not call that a very scientific approach, but it provides some feedback.
