    Michael Weinstein got it wrong.

I was wondering what was driving this sell-off today and now I have just seen the note in Yahoo headlines from Weinstein.

Does he not realize that the possibility exists that St. Jude is not the only one developing quadripolar leads. I am choosing my words carefully. It is not like St. Jude has this lead on the market.

Does he not realize that Boston Scientific is the only company that has demonstrated the ability to electronically reposition a lead long after implant. (by electrical switches in the can that can be changed through the programmer). A currently market released feature that allows pacing vectors to be changed through programmer.

Developing a quadrapolar lead is one thing. but if you cannot change the electrodes on the lead that you are pacing through without reopening the patients pocket then the physician and the rep. have to make their best guess as to which one to hook-up at implant.

Either I am missing something or this sell-off is for the wrong reason. Any thoughts?
