You can't polish a turd. You can't keep growing income through layoffs, eventually you will have nothing but a skeleton crew of employees and then your net income will turn into a net loss as your revenue keeps shrinking. If you consider nose-diving revenues to be an excellent quarter, then yes this was an excellent quarter!
