The average daily number of shares exchanged in a 24 hour hour period is 12,933,200 over the past 3 months (according to yahoo). Either I am failing to understand your question or you were seeking a different number.
I've been watching this number from the time they started the $B share buy-back.
Twice this number increased while it has been decreasing almost daily....once coincided with stock-option issues (which I know is common practic...issuing repurchased shares for retention) and one other time I'm thinking it was parallel to the release of information related to some type of exclusive sales agreement with a company.
i was wondering if something was in the works (in the $80MM range that we should be looking for (acquisition or whatever)
