    NIR is NOT

Surveys of cardiologists tell me that AVEI's GFX stent is preferred over BSX's NIR. This stock is going to $50!!! Medtronic will buy AVEI.

    • Altho I have not yet tried a NIR stent I have at
least handled and seen the product. I do not feel that
radiopacity is one of the more crucial aspects of a stent
design. Even Columbo rates it down the list of important
      attributes. He considers 1. deliverabilty
      2. radial
support 3. plaque coverage (no prolapse) and 4. very low
possibility to dislodge the stent as the most important stent
design aspects. Radiopacity is 5th on his list.
think the NIR stent will do very well and while the GFX
will do well also you can only cut the pie so many
ways. While some disagree I also think that bundling is
important and in this area BSX has a large advantage over
I have heard that BSX is selling $ 4 million
per day in NIR's even with their limited rollout.
That number will obviously increase over the short
term. With the stent "sox" and no need to post-deploy
the stent, the NIR will do quite well even if it is
only "equal" in deliverability to the GFX. Make no
mistake about it, AVE stents will sell well also, but
      watch out for the NIR.

    • why isn't there some interesting comments of is there going to be any money made, instead of all this BSabout who's who. sounds like everyone's an -IDIOT.
