People must learn to understand, that 'in the short term' MSN need LOOK just as much as LOOK needs MSN. YHOO can cancel the OVER contract 'as they please' or, even immediately, as I understand. I think we will all find a continued LOOK/MSN amicable 'relationship', IF a 'buyout' does not happen. Current accumulation is in anticipation of either announcement. An extended renewal, clearly favourable to LOOK will see a climb in the share price that will justify such accumulation. Just don't be out when the news is released is MHO. :) LMC
<<everyone is so concern about msft not renewing their contract with look. In the end, msft will find out they need LOOK as much as we need them.>>
I don't think anyone's concerned about LOOK NOT resigning with MSN. The concern is over how MSN will use LOOK in the future? Will LOOK be relegated to purely a directory position (basically buried) while MSN provides their primary search results using their new in-house techology (framed with Overture results)?
That's very likely, and would have a serious impact on LOOK's revenues.
