OT - Obama's Drone Warfare Is Just What We Asked For. - Really?

"American citizens want someone who will make the big, bad world disappear. Problems only exist if we have to confront them. Obama has made warfare more convenient for us — and less emotionally taxing. We should thank him."

    ??????

Is this how you people really feel?

Your "you people" group isn't fully identified, but if it refers to "American citizens" then my guess is the answer to your question would be roughly 50% of those might. The below quote from the article you provided the link to also states a heated debate, which show not all American politician citizens really feel that way, either.

"A leaked Department of Justice memo outlining the legal rationale for President Obama's aggressive drone policy has sparked a heated debate — much of it centered on President Obama's apparent hypocrisy."

Whew... that's plenty enough OT political stuff for this poster.

Happy investing and enjoy your day!

        Thanks for your reply, yepwhatzever.

I take back what has been written.

Thanks. It now becomes more clearer to me that the roughly 50% of those who might not have agreed with the legal rationale for President Obama's aggressive drone policy (the roughly 50% - who sparked a heated debate), have simply failed to convince the other half - - that there's no justification for this policy, whatsoever.

I still find that all so strange. (Who profits from such a policy?)

When considering that according to data tracked by the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security in North Carolina, there were just nine terrorist plots involving American Muslims in 2012.

And (in total), there were only 14 people out of a population of millions who were indicted for their involvement in violent terrorist plots in 2012, an actual decline from 2011′s number, of just 21.

You may even agree with me that there should be no doubt - that the more efficient, aggressive drone policy will get to bump up those figures (as a result of it's introduction), in time to come.

How many (of these additional numbers) will be American Muslims, I wonder?

Your guess will be as good as mine.
