    Boston Afib Meeting.....No Good News!!

STXS is being consider for dead at the
    Big AFIB meeting in Boston.
    Meeting organizer are talking about
how they are not involved, Doc are
saying they are not going to last the
    year out.
    Other Big players saying that
their is no interest in them.
This is not good news, STXS has
brought this on themselves by not
    showing a stand.
This may be the end to STXS as we
no it. Doc will never OK a system
if they think their going under!!!!!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • Sadly sadly you are correct. I was surprised no one commented on your comment. They lost a few BIG opportunities in a St. Vincent in arkansas. EP docs ate currently getting almost everything they ask fr because reimbursement is doing well for them, but when it comes to new equipment, and that companies stock is doing horrible, the CFO gets involved. These cases are long and make no money, althought technology is better than Hanson (which we call the Perf Monster), u just can't make the case when Hosp are watching capital so close. Not saying technology isn't good, just years ahead of its time. Big and bulky and is usually relegated as the room for only stxs cases. So the room is wasted most of the day. Also, you can't use STXS on cases when patients have a pacemaker, ICD or BiV device because they are metal and u can't have metal objects near magnets. Well, for those who don't know what the heck this means, please let me elaborate. Patients with some sort of heart disease or valve disease, this is usually a progressive disorder. For the past couple,of years docs have been using biV devices or ICD's all with meds to treat or manage AFib. Of course after all meds were tried, but still this is the case. Well, you can't treat these patients, because they have devices. So in reality, this room sits for 75 percent of the week. Which anyone who knows anything, no lab wants an empty room that just cast you 2.5 million....(with construction costs). Just thought I would add my two cents.

Btw: I'm not short, although I feel short after the 10-1 split. Not being at Boston AFiB is huge. Bad rep already cost them plenty of business and Baylor Heart is barely using room.

Good luck, and keep up optimism. Whoever said this was the next ISUrG. Sure....I'm with ya buddy. In my own dreams. If my 30000 shares hit 6 I'd feel smart again.

      Sentiment: Hold
