    Chinese Yuan

Does anyone knows if LTON's cash positions are in Chinese currency? It seems the Chinese currency will appreciate very soon.

    • There was this note I found:

Loans receivable from related parties includes the Company's loan of Singapore Dollars 11.5 million (approximately $8 million) to GLD Investments Pte Ltd ("GLD"), a limited liability company incorporated in Singapore, which is 10% owned by the Company's Chief Executive Officer. The loan has been due for repayment since October 2009. Linktone's management is in the process of negotiating with the shareholders of GLD to have the loan converted to an equity interest in GLD. After the conversion, which is expected to be finalized in the second quarter of 2010, Linktone will become the majority shareholder of GLD.

I also asked for info on GLD by emailing company. Will post results when received.

    • I believe the 20f says US dollars.

We own assets in a country where their assets are appreciating against us share price in us dollars.

Sure Lton cash value is in us dollar and it is more then full market cap. In full I would call it a wash.

They mat move more capital to the CY, who knows. I never thought their would be a day but investors moving capital to China looking for monetary valuation is a unique situation.

I think its China's way of luring in the speculators.

      good luck
