IMO, Exelon's consensus EPS estimate of $ .96/share for this quarter is too high, as is the $1.09/share estimate for the September quarter, and the $4.07 consensus estimate for the full year 2011. It's my opinion that analysts will be cutting their own estimates shortly.
IMO, Excelon will miss it's revenue estimate this quarter and next, and the company will have significantly higher costs this quarter and again next quarter. Therefore, the full year 2011 consensus estimate of $4.07/share is overly optimistic in my opinion. I also realize this runs counter to some "Wall Street" analysts, but I am usually right in my assessments, and stand by my assessment.
