Insider trading is made public so the public can draw it's own conclusions.

    • But is it true or not? Insiders selling does not meen its dooms day for the stock!

    • Great price to sell at, I could not sagree more.

    • What do you think would be a good price too sell at? About every stock you look at the insiders are selling ther stock...when its up nicely. I'm i wrong?

    • Party in Mudville, RIMM insiders have exercised and sold over 536,000 shares in the last couple of weeks. Don't believe me

    • Thank you Wahoo.

I used to check the site on a regularly sine you first posted. I don't check it anymore. Given the recent appreciation of the stock, any sale by insiders is justifiable. They exercise low priced options to diversify. The ratio of activity vs. holdings is also much higher than noted, as stock option grants (mainly non-vested) are not listed. I have seen this happen all the time and don't find the sales alarming. As you know, based on the secondary filing the management team will probably not sell for 90 days after offering. Of course they noted exceptions and disclaimers.

I usually check for the latest SEC filings. Found Fidelity's filing very interesting last year. Unfortunately I think FMR & Primecap are the only institutions that have to file their activities with the SEC (5% ownership or more). I wish changes in institutional ownership or specific funds was available on a monthly basis.

      Cheers,
      raminsan

    • I have to agree with you, there is no reason to sell the stock, insiders aren't, institutions aren't, us little guys aren't, let it ride and see what transpires .. nothing to lose but everything to gain, some call it greed, I call it, making money when you can and as much as you can .... long or short ...

and the grand debate continues ...short it now? or hold it long? ... ain't life wonderful :)

    • I know the selling enviroment, but am very green when it comes to this type of stock.

Your posts have been appreciated, especially
      concerning a reason to sell.

Right now it does not exist.

Until competitors show in force, there is no
      reason to sell.

    • evening MB .. I've always listened/read your post .... you keep me informed at a level I have little knowledge of .... appreciate it ..

I know you have your doubts about RIMM, you look at all sides and evaluate .... pure fundamentals, valuation and most of all future competition in a changing world .... I listen and learn ...
