My entire 401K is in RIMM and I am prepared to lose it down to zero if I must. Thats how confident or stupid I am only time will tell on that front... If I lose every dime, I tip my hat to the shorts for being right and Im wrong, if I don't, I know I will be rewarded very handsomely and most assuredly very soon I think through a buyout of 60 bucks or more, that would screw the shorts and they can burn in flames for their greed anyways for all I care about those folks!!!
Telling these retards you put your life saving into this causes a feeding frenzy of the minions of trolls on this board..you will notice they all feed here together at the same time ..
like flies on S.H@it
Its so funny these trolls... joel, sergeant, ayuh.. they are probably all same person or work for the same sweat shop in india getting 5 cents for each post or something like that. look how they pick up earlier posts and attack any long.
When RIMM goes to $125, these same trolls under different names will be pumping rimm.
They are nothing more than a tool, a pawn of the guys who manipulate markets.
They are low level scum bags working for the high level scum bags.
"sell some out of the money calls
great source of income as RIMM gets its house in order"
That'll work great!
PROVIDED your cost is LOW enough to make your strike price profitable or at least break even.
Suppose you bought your shares between $55 & $70.
You would have to write you call for 9 months to 18 months (Leaps) to break even or show a profit.
Then suppose you write, for example a $65 for 18 months & after 15 months with no dividend mind you, Rimm has struggled to $60.
Then the Bros do a LBO @ $100 or a buyer does materialize @ $100. You sat their all that time, with only the premium to show for it while the present holder of the Leap cashes in.
Going to make you feel real good won't it.
Good for you...I feel the same way...I have made a lot of $$ trading rim but got hit with this last downturn...around 50 grand....but feel confident enough like you it will rebound...remember it went to $35 and back to almost $200...will happen again.
Presently 4,000 shares at $53....will buy more with this drop...good luck bud...and I think time is on our side. Their is so much negativity on Rim at present but 99% american who in general hate Canadian Corps.
PS: note Rim is buying back common shares and no reason to push price higher while doing this acquistion.
thinking the stock's going to return to all time highs and cost averaging down is what has gotten longs crushed over the last couple years.
why do you people think being a contrarian to what the big boys are doing is gonna get you to victory?
remember, NOK longs once used the same rationale.
"Presently 4,000 shares at $53...."
As William Jefferson Clinton said (once he had his pants on), "I feel your pain.
"will buy more with this drop..."
This brings to mind P. T. Barnum's "there's a sucker born every minute."
"good luck bud..."
You'll surely need it.
"and I think time is on our side."
Now the Rimmtards claim immortality?
"Their is so much negativity on Rim at present..."
Gee, I wonder why?
"...but 99% american who in general hate Canadian Corps..."
No we don't. We love Rimm & Canadian Corp(se).
Who else would provide us with their WHOLE market share gratis. And then sit around babbling while we take it?
"PS: note Rim is buying back common shares..."
No it isn't. Its last buyback has finished & by law they cannot start a new one until July.
See, I don't even want to own Rimm stock & I know more about it that you, a Son of Rimmtardia, does!
"and no reason to push price higher while doing this acquistion."
What acquistion is that. The phantom one in your dreams?
When are the rimm mini-bars restocked? And with what brands.
Since rimm is a goatcoat, we'd like to invest in any equities that appear in rimm mini-bars. Constant restocking, and share-poundings will mean a huge upside.
Plus private medical depression clinics. They will go nuts when rimm is a single-digit midget.
"this won't cause a divorce, I have a spouse more intelligent than that..."
And she still married you?
"and money isn't everything either,..."
Try telling that to the Town tax people, grocers, IRA, et al
"won't cause depression either!!!"
Here I agree with you. Rimmtards don't get depressed, that would take intelligence. Oh, this hardy band are we, Rimmtardia we pledge thee all!
"You gotta be willing to risk to make a fortune."
Risk is one thing, suicide is quite another.
"Some gambles are worth it you know!!!"
Apparently you can't tell the difference between a potentially "good" gamble & the disaster that is Rimm.
Ah well, its your money---for a little while anyway.
