Why would iCrapple put a lowly 5.0 MP camera on a 2046 x 1536 screen when 8 MP is the 2012 standard? That screen quality equates to a 3.1 MP camera if we are trying to balance things here. And why, would they use the cheapest camera available in any third world nation for the face camera? They could have used two 3 MP cameras to match the resolution. Knowing that 1080P is the standard for highest video streaming, there is no use for the iPad screen resolution, it's just a sham.
You can take all the pictures you want with an iCrapple New Pad but they won't look as good as they could by a long shot, .92 MP face camera, oh boy.
Apple has been one to over promise and under deliver, but this one is puzzling.
<Why would iCrapple put a lowly 5.0 MP camera on a 2046 x 1536 screen when 8 MP is the 2012 standard? >
Because any camera greater than 5MP is a waste of tech on a tablet.
PEOPLE DO NOT USE CAMERAS ON A TABLET OUTSIDE OF VIDEO CHAT AND FACETIME.
< Knowing that 1080P is the standard for highest video streaming, there is no use for the iPad screen resolution, it's just a sham.>
The quest for higher resolution will ALWAYS continue. This is tech. 1080p is today's standard. Tomorrow it will be something else and the day after that something else again.
The fact that RIM's Executive Team believed that text email and baby web browsers was going to be enough for another twenty years is the reason RIM is the poster boy for antiquated tech.
RIM has never been a leader in advancing technology. They figured out that basic needs could be handled by creating a basic operating system.

Why do you think 99.9% of iPad users have an iPhone in their pocket and their iPad is left at home or in the car or on the desk or in the bedroom?
However this "basic OS" became outdated as Apple's iOS showed them (and the world) that desktop class computing can be done on a handheld device.
The iPad is not a portable device. That's what the iPhone is for.
The iPad is an appliance that has room to room flexibility and ease of use.
It's all part of the ecosystem.
Something that RIM does not have.
Outside of AppLack.
still here?
Interesting that you can not refute by $150 to $14 claim - ALL of Wall Street laughs anytime you mention RIMM. New lows are just around the corner.
if, in fact, it is "enough said" as you say....then why don't you get lost...we won't miss you.
why apple at another all time high today?looney tunes left out that question.you want a camera?dont be so cheap and go buy a camera.camera lol who cares....cant stand cheap people as they tend to steal
What joelew111_a... likes to leave out is the Quality of the 5 mega pixel camera & its attendant optics as well as the photo manipulation software in iphoto which comes with IOS.
Its like the moronic arguments regarding processor speeds on computers. It has been shown time and again that processor speed is not the only factor in the OVERALL speed of the computer.
The same is true with digital cameras. Read, if your not a Rimmtard like joelew111_a..., any computer mag regarding the importance of mega pixels in photo quality versus the quality of the optics if you don't believe me.
But Rimmtard joelew111_a..., needs to use an copycat alias so what can one expect?
Ayuh
hows those $10 puts masterbaiter...ahem.. I mean mastertrader...??
why would BB put out a playbook with no native email?
