QNX has changed hands multiple times. Why? OS is very heavy. Has anyone considered that the device could heat up a lot when running multiple apps on a heavy OS in a phone form factor? In a trial you could put as many apps as you want on a device but in real time it would become unuable or uncomfortable to use.
Why are playbooks are not selling with all the QNX functionality? BB10 has much of the same functionality bundled up in a different name. Do your own DD.
Go ahead and do your DD. QNX has a lot going for it, and so does the playbook. It's not selling well cuz it was released prematurety and they did a #$%$ job promoting it. It's been a couple years now, and it's been perfected. The playbook still needs to be upgraded to BB10, I like it the way it is. Solid peice of hardware.
and seeing that the price is still low on it. I'll probably buy another one for the house/kids. Can't beat the price.
Let's try an old Boxing adage for you Joe Louis111 (Mr. Rimm Hater who holds back no punches) Apple won the early, mid and even late rounds in the Tablet battle. But RIMM is still standing and far from knocked out. You can continue to loathe them all you want--they will stick around and be a niche player in a GROWTH Indusry and do just fine.
