Nokias earnings are bad but they still had revenue of 9.2 billion last quarter. They sell tons of feature phones. When both RIM and Nokia both are losing money, you have to look at other things to find your valuation. Disclaimer: I am not a Nokia bull.
The 75 million faithful blackberry subs of 2011 refused to buy Rims last two product releases. (BB7 and Playbook)That is why RIM is in the trouble they find themselves in today. The subs aren't faithful.
The evidence shows that the faithful subs will not open their wallets for rims high end products. If you have evidence otherwise, please share.
i beleive there is a lot of people waiting for the new phone, but it is a show me the product first. there are also who swithed recenlty that will take a serious look at it too. so it is a wait and see situation.
Stonecold- No doubt the past hasn't been pretty financially for RIMM. People aren't buying the stock on the past just the future. You can't say with a straight face the negative news articles created aren't a bit overboard. Why is Nokia's market cap double that of RIMM?
