I do my own research. Call around, sales staff are completely clueless as to what is going on. Many have admitted out right to me that they have not received any documentation or training and know very little and some nothing. Koodo in fact at multiple locations at the Eaton Center and downtown locations and customer service (1800) knew absolutely nothing.
I experienced this with the Playbook in August when I bought the LTE and did some research. Bell released the product to me without having an independent Blackberry plan. It would not work because Blackberry uses Blackberry servers not Bell! It took them three days to create a plan and get my Playbook working. I dealt with Investor relations and Bell. Both were horrified.
No talked to one another and nothing is coreographed. Scary it is like cards being thrown up in the air. That is their strategy.
Wes I have to admit that in the past the management team (especially marketing) was indeed horrific. I am hoping the new marketing head will get his ducks in a row this time with the z10, etc.
I will do my own research with boots on the ground as well in the US, and if it feels like the Playbook all over again, I will sell my 68k long share position. For now I am going to speculate on the turn around story.
