About the same % of internt startups that wound up making money. Maybe it wasn't that bad, but it was bad! This will be looked upon as the App Bubble. Just as some internet startups turned into real profit generating companies, so too will some apps. The rest are just a smoke screen (as was the NASDAQ at the time).
Yes your right. But the analysts are supposed to be the guys in the know but today I saw a debate on CNBC where one idiot said blackberry won't succeed because if no apps whme the other more intelligent analyst said the phone is good and only 2 percent of all Apps make any money. So if you have data confirming most apps are pretty much useless then why do they keep harping on it. It shows again that most anysts don't know their head from their #$%$.
