Beyond expectations means material change in earnings therefore
a pre-announcement is required by law just like Thor did to the downside last year. That he has not done this means there is NO material change and the stock is a short!

Heins is a smart COOKIE... he knows that sales are over expectations but is waiting and letting these Analysts downgrade so the actual IMPACT will be that much greater when earnings and sales are out !!!
I wold expect some news about the Z10 sales just before the date.Sentiment: Strong Buy

He's a flip flopper and bandwagon jumper. Basically however the stock is trading that day is is his position lol. Red today? Oh well hes a short.

Are you really that dumb? Just because they will beat the street does not require an announcement by law...however they do not report until March 28 so i would suspect that some intial numbers for Z10 WILL be made public ahead of the US launch. As far as what Thor has done , he cannot answer tit for tat to every short hedge analyst who wants to drop earnings forcats etc...he would look weak. Instead they have dropped measured hints like the fact that 50% of Z10 sales in canada come from non BB users, or stating the sales are 50% better than any BB launch previously. When the month is DONE...and every last phone shipped/sold can be tallied....he'll announce....and hopefully rip shorts to threads.

I am deducing Thor's "incredible comments". By law a company must announce material change and if his words are parsed verbatim then "beyond expectations" implies to readers that there would in fact be material change and there is of course no announcement therefore there are NONE!

I am long BBRY but I am finding Thor's comments suspect. He has went out of his way to "protect" investors by preannouncing material changes to the downside and making announcements of delays and all kinds of negative things to mitigate the downside but has not done ONE SINGLE thing to promote any positive light except for clapping in the #$%$ microphone during the presentation!
