This phone will have an Eye-recognition system that will allow you to control it with your eyes! It will have a 13mp camera, will be sold by ALL carriers, and has a deal with Visa for a new payment system. BBRY is must keep up with the competition with the big ballers or this company is done. Maybe not now, but this year some time, it will have to face reality.
Nothing on the GS4 would make me want it any more than a GS3. if anything, the larger screen is a turn off. Having said this, I want my Z10 because it is more efficient to use. If I don't have a $700 video card in my computer, why would I want a GS4?
The hardware may be better than Z10, but the OS is not comparable to BB10. That is why. The security, the flow, the peek, the isolation of personal workspace and working domain, and the media hub all make BB10 far more attractive to me.
The power of BB10 OS can enhance Z10 hardware settings and make it better even it is released before Samsung's Galaxy S4.
If you think that this little advantage can gain them the market share that they once had, you're mistaken. This is no major "WOW" factor that can keep up with the ever changing technological competition. I've experienced the phone, and it was not convincing enough to let me know "hey this is a major advancement that will keep you hooked and pull you away from the others and they will be able to keep up with competitors advancing technology and even better". This is a last ditch effort on their part, and to me I wouldn't want to carry a phone not convincing enough to let me know that they will be around long enough to support it. Thats exactly what happened to Palm.
I last tried google with SII and just recently again with SIII(mini). Both times I found android os a muddled mess - could not arrange home screen icons to my liking and orphaned blank pages that would not go away. Just a mess. As to nexus4 - grewat idea if you don't use bluetooth......another android mess. No thanks.
I know what is important to me, when I buy a phone from one carrier, and that is, that it is sold by other carriers that I am not even going to be contracting with! I think the only people that care, are companies/goverment agencies with "approved vendor" lists. I guess the eye thing is the differnce between bb users and others. often times I won't be looking when I am typing, so I would likely disable eye recognition, but I am happy they are pushing the innovation. If I didn't get a Z10, I would probably have gotten the Galaxy S IV (aside from the Q10).
I think what you have now are 3 great devices for different people. I personally was not huge on the SIII. I mean I thought it was fine, and certainly better than the iphone, but I liked the shape of the Z10, fits in my pocket easily, and the software lets me manage my communication better. The fact that I can now netflix/instagram on it, is just the bonus.
z10 has 16 mp camera..better than samsung.. eye-recognition will make your eye blurry and reduce your vision because it uses a lazer to scan it. Do you want to be blind by using this function? This function is a killer not a good tech.
