Type "back orders" in the search engine and you will find many past threads pumping reports of backorders for the OS7 phones, the OS6 phones and the Playbook when they were launched. The board won't let me bump them at the moment. Also pumping of 5 star consumer ratings for Playbook and blackberry Bold and Curve. Rimtards were so darned sure this meant these devices had high demand in North America.
This should tell you these are awful metrics to gauge device sales success.. Thinking investors will take heed. Rimtards will continue to believe they are getting in on the ground floor of the next Apple based on best buy back orders.
And the stock was 100-140 when that came out. Now Blackberry is telling us that their sales are 50% better then ever, and they just sold a one million phone order that they have never done before. You would think the stock would be at an all time high when breaking all past sales records.
