70% of actual short interest were place btw 6s - 18 past 6 months... Do the math and timing. That is the real reason of SHORTS LOUD.. They are SCREaming.....
Good post, if a long has the time it would be interesting to see the value of Blackberry on the basis of short shares added to the 530 million outstanding shares times the share price at that time. This calculation could be done on each of the short share reporting dates. I bet we would see a steady climb that the market is giving to Blackberry shares, instead of the artificial share price we have seen through increasing short sales. I will do this calculation myself, and post it in a day or two when i have time, and if nobody else does it.
Sentiment: Strong Buy

About a month ago, after hosting a well-received analyst day, U.S. company First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) saw its stock price soar by about 46% in one day. Much of this gain was attributed to a massive short squeeze as the company entered the analyst day with an outstanding short interest of 21% of shares outstanding.
Today, we have two more companies enjoying a similar dynamic on the back of better than expected quarterly results. According to Capital IQ, Tesla Motors (NASDAQ:TSLA) and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ:GMCR) entered today with outstanding short interests of 24% and 22% of shares outstanding respectively. …bbry strong buy.
