Try to trade options using a web page on your smartphone. You have to zoom so far in to see current bid prices that on screen buttons are unavailiable, so you zoom out bit, then you can't read the prices. It's a nightmare. Also, mobile check deposit is nice - you can't do that through the web page.
I know on the Playbook I have full access to my broker and bank through the browser. I assume BB10 is the same. What do I need an app for?
I know whenever I open the Nasdaq site it identifies that I am using a Playbook and recommends their app. I have installed the app but never use it because it is extremely limited.

I agree completely. I have a Playbook and I prefer the website over the app for CIBC.
A lot of the apps that were written for Apple was because the browser had such difficulty displaying the regular web.
Like I have said before, it's like Apple hijacked the internet and shoved it into convinient little boxes. Whereas a simple bookmark would suffice in most circumstances.
