You posted the exact wording earlier but that is not what you posted said. It said that they did channel checks. After doing those channel checks the checked google search counts for correlation between channel checks and google searches. If a browser is increasing sales then you should see an increase in google searches. They are saying their channel checks indicate weak sales and it is confirmed with weak google searches.
Now the problem I have is that it seems, at least with StatCounter, that BB10 is not being counted. If Bernstein did a poor job at channel checks and then quickly validated it with flawed google search data they could have made a huge mistake.
Bernstein and Cramer are and have been bearish BBRY for quite sometime - who knows why but in this mkt anything is possible - maybe they got burnt in the past? Maybe they have short holdings, maybe they are paid bashers? Who knows? All I do know for sure is that numbers are facts and so far I have not seen one basher show any numbers, charts or graphs - just the bulls show these in their artcles! These bashers just spew BS from their PIE HOLES and as far as I am concerned just buy more shares when they drop it! Shorts are getting desperate! T - 6 and counting - after today!
That is an excellent point. But how do you arrive at the conclusion that BB10 is not being counted? In most places BlackBerry is shown increasing in January and then gradually decreasing every month until May. That troubled me, but your assumption does make sense and could be a reasonable explanation. Is there a way to contact the StatCounter people to determine if BB10 was considered? If your are right, that could be a big game changer. Thanks for your post.
