It takes time to transition to new platform. It takes time to mature, build more apps, and an eco-system. They are definitely better today than last year. They have more cash in the bank and launching a new, competitive product. I am disappointed there is no short squeeze today. But let the shorts escape may be a good thing.
Let me know when BBRY develops their own design language, launches smartphones based on that on every price range in emerging and developed markets.I will put my money into BBRY only then.
The thesis of BBRY PPS appreciation was speculation and expectation that current BBRY customers will move en mass and embrace BB10 based smartphones.Apparatenly that has not happened in the numbers hoped. If it didn't happen in first quarter with the product refresh, its highly questionable they will do this quarter or the next few quarters (it's not entirely impossible but it is now improbable in my view unless BBRY catches up with the competition in both product design language, innovation and price ranges)
