Nokia was better positioned with a rich uncle and they only received a pittance for their device and services business. BBRY is probably worth about $7 or $8 on that valuation. Not very exciting and now they have a much tougher competitor.
Msft didn't buy the whole "dollar " ...their device business was losing money not really any differently than BBRY and yet fetched 5 billion plus 2 Billion for licensing patents. This puts BBRY at 7 or 8 with a 1 in front of it.
