Intangibles people. This in the end will make BBRY a good play for the longs. BBM, best-in-class security, NON-AMERICAN technology, AKA maybe NSA can't watch/listen so easily. Really too many to mention. With the right strategy Blackberry will be the Rolex of smartphones. It will have an exclusivity and status that will be known by the preeminent users that know iPhone and Android are really just toys for third-wavers. Blackberry has gone full circle and is will become the phone of choice for first-waivers. The herd will follow in time.
Usually Thats true in nature, but in this case I really dont think so. As a whole right now that are weak, they have a cancer called hand sets. Purge that and then I would def agreed with you. Right now they are bleeding and the parts they consist of dont make a well working organism
Exactly why it's good for shareholders the Fairfax offer didn't fly. More value keeping it together and going back after their niche. Selling the pieces was a dumb idea.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
" In time".... At least 2 yrs. What's gonna happen in the meantime? Berry will be a penny stock, if it even stays together. Then it'll take a couple more years to retrace back up to where it is now. You're talking 4-5 yrs minimum to see any profit.
Wall St. noticed that not a single company in the world valued this company @ $9 pps. Any thoughts of share price hanging out at these levels while the company promises yet again to get out their shyt in one sock is fantasy.
I agree with you it will take some time. New CEO Chen said six quarters. I'm accumulating more and believe we'll break $10 - 12 in a years time. Hey I could be wrong but I'm holding long. BBRY has some mojo left, some attributes than no other company can offer.
non american technology. lol. less then a year ago they suck our a. zzes calling it north american technology asking us to buy their junk instead of the asians products. And after listening for months how they are superior to americans and asians. they hire a CHINESE AMERICAN to fix their b s scam pump and dump turd of a company. Why didnt they try to hire the toronto mayor he fits the rimtard profile.
By full circle I mean strategically. Frig the consumer smartphone market. It's a fools play. It's what Thorsten Heinz chased into the ground. They are starting where they began, with the enterprise customer that wants a premium smartphone with better security that works everywhere in the world. There's a great deal of Jam out there for that. Any key exec or anyone with top security clearance uses one device: A Blackberry.
