Seeking Alpha discloser said it does not have any BBRY stock...right? What I want to know is what was there motivation in putting a repeated slam on BBRY. Have you been out to lunch with any of the competitors? Just wondering. Its not like I have a video or something.
Same motivation to report an "internal memo" at Pfizer ( Not Seeking Alpha--many more besides them) despite that Pfizer had a policy of not commenting on any suppliers. Question is: what will Chen and Blackberry do to maintain these important relationships? If they can't do more than just write a letter in October then the loud mouth Shorts have no reason to shut up. Why should they?
Seems like 4 out of 5 Seeking Alpha writers are bearish on BBRY, but the other 20-25% seem to be bullish. One guy from SA a couple weeks back was trying to argue a $16 share price target! They are just individual writers making observations and arguments. Some are smarter than others.
Truth is the motivation in this case. It would be absurd for the writers to speak glowingly about brokeberry, smart people would cry b.s. and dumb people(longs) would buy more, lose money and then blame S.A for steering them to this pos. Sometimes truth is its own reward, builds credibility. Serious investors know bbry is toast, at least short/medium term.
