Some of the best companies do not perform on the stock market as they should due to a failure to invest in advertising. RIMM has performed well this year but could launch itself to another platform with clever advertising.
Gee, I guess that is why the stock's performance has sucked so bad this year!
Why buy ads when your partners (Bell South, Fidelity) like to run full page ads in key publications that have little more than a closeup of the RIM pager?! And if we do somthing with DELL (and we should), they will carry the advertising too I'm sure.
