Ignorance is Bliss??? Please tell. I, myself report to a CIO who can be a backbone to a company's IT.
A chief technical officer or chief technology officer (abbreviated as CTO) is an executive position whose holder is focused on scientific and technical issues in a company. It emerged in the United States in the 1980s as a business-focused extension of the position of Director of R&D.
The chief information officer or CIO is a job title for the head of the information technology group within an organization. They often report to the chief executive officer or chief financial officer. In military organizations, they report to the commanding officer or commanding general of the organization.
thanks, man. if you check it out on the background of the CTO of this comany, whose name is Tom Staloch. it looks to me what he did is for a CIO, and forgive my ignorance that I don't see this phaymacy service company needs a CTO, what kind of technology the company needs to provide phaymacy service, which is not pharmacy product.
OK, last note on this. I questioned Craig Allison about this last week. He relayed to me Tom Staloch is still with the company, but managing other responsibilities. Give him a call, if you're still concerned.
