    • I agree FCX is a really good long and short term investment, however, it still does not address the issue that this stock is being manipulated coming up to options expiration this Friday. Somebody doesnt want their calls exercised. Monday they wont care.

    • well what did he say this time? copper blah blah blah, shut up and give us some good news richard

      • I watched and I listened. I thought it was a very good interview! Adkerson said it was a very positive time for FCX. No bubble for us, he says. Outlook is very strong. China is very important. A Key challenge is to produce in volumes. Good assets is the key and they have a broader set of assets with the PD purchase. Only has about 12% penetration in US residential (I believe he said); with commercial and other uses being strong. Doesn't bet on prices. Very optimistic about market place. Feels demand will continue to be good. Prepares itself for different scenarios with fluctuations in metal prices. Has a clear cut strategy in growing assets.

I can only take shorthand so fast and this is just a synopsis (which I hope is fairly accurate) of what Adkerson said. I suggest any of you who want to listen to what he said, that you go to CNBC.com and listen to the FCX interview (on video) with CEO Adkerson!!!

        Cheers..........(*~*)...............Sherry
