Seems to me that copper demand will be based on the answer to that question. We know the U.S. is in a recession. What about the rest of the world, especially China? If we slow, will it? IMO, the rest of the world will slow with us, including China, meaning copper demand will decline, meaning FCX share price will decline, along with most other commodities. JMO. Any thoughts on this scenario?
Quit playing the market with such a short term outlook. You are going to lose your shirt. Over the next decade copper is going to be in great demand. Power transmission facilities need to be improved and constructed worldwide.
