That is bizarre if true. Not publicly showing aprice is unusual. If true, lack of transparency will drive this stocl lower. Mistrust by retail investor... I mean financing dividends with no idea of the stock price on new shares?
I interpret it to mean that due to the recent volatility in the stock, the firm running the deal was not willing to take the risk of pricing it. My understanding is that the firm buys the stock, less the fees, and then have the responsibility to sell it without making a loss. Can't say I blame them. I mean, I made almost 30% on my shares in just under a month of holding. It's not exactly a rock-solid move up.
