Here is another reason why I have changed my mind about C&N and now hope they get bough out sooner rather than later. Look at the volume of almost 11k shares at the open…..just prior to the release of stellar earnings. What clairvoyant stock guru would have the wisdom and intelligence to make such a large purchase on, what had been dead money for months prior. Oh, I know someone with inside information, so, at the end of the day a sweet 7% profit. My goodness!
Integrity once again may have been breached in a rural bank that should not let things like this happen. If it is not a director, officer, or other insider it is very likely collusion with others so the “appearance” passes muster. I was really hopeful that under new leadership things would be difference, but alas they may not be. This kind of aberrant volume action should be thoroughly investigated and stockholders should, at least, ask why?
I sincerely hope you are correct on your $25 prognostication. But frankly, I've seen nothing from present management that suggests that sort of price. On the other hand, sitting on top of untold Marcellus Shale revenue - maybe they'll fall into it. Let's hope!!
