    • The delays and acting as though it is a going concern may have something to do with shopping the company around to be bought. If you are trying to sell this thing and you are in Coopers shoes, you may just want to keep quiet about everything as long as you can. This buys time to see if you can get a sucker to bite. There is one born every minute and Cooper may just be on the hunt to sell the company.

Anyone willing to pay 700 + million will not look to buy this flee infested dog. Any amout of Due diligence would put the potential liabilities plus the cost of debt and equity close to 1 billion. All this for a company that is losing money on the bottom line and has significant sales declines year on year on the top line, in additon it has virtually zero real estate and lots of competition and zero IP. What is there here but a donut hole...

    • No doubt that pooper scooper will be

      "Shocked. SHOCKED!"

      when he pulls the plug.

    • If something drastic like bankruptcy is imminent, Kooper won't have the time to hire an outsider and wait for the new kid to get up to speed; instead, he will have to draft the best of the bunch left at the bottom of the in-house barrel for the job.

Now that we know Kooper has taken the first course, it stands to reason (!) that he is planning nothing drastic IMMEDIATELY.

    • Thanks. Anytime you need a simple lead question, just ask.

    • That hasn't changed since Mid $40's per share.. Hey, when your trusted insiders are hedged short betting on their own failure through off shore hedge funds--YOU SHOUD'VE KNOWN AFTER MY WARNINGS THAT KKD WAS COOKED--Literally.. KKD posts a loss--imagine that--I wonder how much $$$ hedge funds (care of insiders) will make on this dive !!

    • I bet that job pays well. Even though it will only be a short term position.

    • They forgot one more qualification:
      - Patsy.
