    Motley fool mention

Well, Yahoo won't let me post the whole thing. Here is the link and I'll post the stuff on KKD.

And what can I say about Krispy Kreme? I'll sum it up in a quote from one of my finance professors: "They're doughnuts!" And then I'll point out that Krispy Kreme is a Motley Fool Stock Advisor recommendation, even though Fool senior analyst Bill Mann is on record saying he believes its equity has no value. Seems pretty binary to me.

Deckers Outdoors is a Motley Fool Hidden Gems pick. Netflix and Krispy Kreme are Motley Fool Stock Advisor picks.

Many times a mention from MF will cause a flury of buying. Perhaps it will carry over to Monday. My guess is that it comforts those that KKD is still a Motley Fool Stock Advisor pick.

      Krispy Kreme's Fair Value: Zero
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is down more than 80% from its high price of the year. Beset by SEC investigations, failing stores, and a floundering growth strategy, the company needs to change tack. Will it? If it fails to do so, Bill Mann sees a scenario where the losses for investors in this company go from gruesome to total.

I actually think that it is a matter of time before Krispy Kreme's (NYSE: KKD) management team finally gets it. Keep in mind that the team that does finally understand how

    • The "no value" article on Motley Fool was well-written ,over a year ago...At that time KKD was around 14,and now it's 6 so it was a good call to say "Don't Buy"..

Now a year later much more has occurred, and imho, a buy here with a stop at 5.00 makes a fair risk/ reward ratio.regards,Showman

You've just shown that you have absolutely no reason for KKD to represent anything but an ignorant investment. One supported by ignorant longs who like doughnuts.
I like the parts in GM cars. That doesn't make buying Delphi three months ago smart. I can say "there are seceret good reasons to invest"... and it would still have been a stupid investment.
The biggest reason that KKD is a stupid investment is exactly what you've said... because we don't know much about what is going on with KKD. BECAUSE KKD WON'T SAY WHAT IS GOING ON.
When they thought they could lie to us, they released TONS OF INFORMATION AND PRESS RELEASES. Now, they don't dare release lies (people should already go to prison from the company).
If they can't lie... they've got nothing to say.
      You think this is good.
      You are stupid.
