I hate these explanations. Not really fair for a publicly held company. If the company was private the gossip in the office would probably get the word out.
I think it's more important an individual in a publicly held position be more forthcoming.-

The Information i have gotten explaining the departure was rather simple. He knew nothing about the Restaurant Business, and Morgan was not impressed by his work ethic or knowledge. Morgan cares deeply about KKD and nothing will stop his devotion to making KKD a Star again. Good Job Jim.

I am inclined to think you are correct. I agree. I was actually shocked that they would bring in a FedEx exec. Didnt make sense to me back then for several reasons.
No disrespect to KKD, but you have to wonder why a "high performer", "hot shot exec", etc would go from a Fortune 100 company to a comparative gnat of a company...? Not too unlike a successful major league ball player saying... eh, I wanna go try out being part of the Huntsville Barnstormers or something.
In the end, this is good news provided that there arent obscene golden parachutes involved. Ugh, if that's the case!
