Ycharts article completely unfair and poorly researched
Have you seen Stephanie Fitch's Y-charts article about Krispy Kreme.
Its completely unfair and pretty much tries to apply Krispy Kreme's failure in the early 2000s to today.
Stephanie is about 8 years too late with this article. She also uses completely biased charts to Blast KKD like Revenue/share. You are going to use Revenue per share to attack a company that underwent a refranchising strategy?
She also failed to mention the last 2 profitable years....and the fact the company is 100% heading in the right direction. To her it seems KKD is heading toward bankrupcy. What terrible journalism.
I have to agree, that article was pretty stupid. A 1-yr rolling average of rev/share like it was the EPS metric? Dumb, not to mention that she disproved her own point without knowing it since it shows the stock coming off a huge decline (*ahem* Fitch, that means PRICE CORRECTION) and seems to be bouncing back (*ahem* Fitch, that means RECOVERY or STABILIZATION).
I agree. I think she wrote the article some 4-5 years ago and it just now got published.
